A snow-covered imposing peak at an elevation of 5250 meters, Mount Shitidhar is positioned in the beautiful Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. The climbing to this splendid peak does not require experience or technical knowledge of hiking. The climb renders the mesmerizing views of Hanuman Tibba in the west along with the Deo Tibba, Indrasan and lesser mountains of Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal Range in the east. This climb to Mount Shitidhar traverses through the popular Solang Valley via Bakarthach and Dhundi to get into the Beas Kund Glacier, which is the originating point of Beas River.

This 12 nights and 13 days itinerary take the travellers to climb Mount Shitidhar in a gratifying and comprehensive manner. The tour also incorporates trekking to Dhundi and Bakarthach along with exploring intact beauty of Solang Valley. The tour is ideal for the nature lovers who are ardent adventurers by heart.

Itinerary

In the evening board AC Volvo coach for Manali at 18:00 hrs. Overnight journey.

Arrival at Manali by morning in between 06:00 hrs – 07:00 hrs. On arrival meet our executive and transfer to hotel for relax & acclimatisation. After leisure visit Hadimba Devi temple, old Manali and the Mall road. Overnight stay at the hotel.

In the morning after breakfast drive to Solang, meet our crew here and start trek towards Dhundi, which is approx. 6 km walk. This is shepherd field where you can enjoy greenery right in the lap of high mountains. Later return back to the hotel for a night stay.

In the morning after breakfast, we will trek again from Solang to Bakkar Thach, which is about 5 hrs journey. On the way, we will be going through lush green meadows and ridges. Later return back to the hotel in Solang for a relaxing night stay.

Today, we will be trekking to Beas Kund and have an ultimate trekking experience. On reaching Beas Kund, we will be setting the camp for an overnight stay near the Kund.

The day is free for leisure or to relax.

The next days is fixed for attempting to reach the Summit as the bad or uncertain weather conditions can affect our trekking plan. Enjoy overnight stay in camp/tents for next two days.

After breakfast in the morning, we will move back to the Beas Kund and enjoy an overnight stay here.

In the morning after breakfast, we will proceed to return back to Dhundi. Enjoy a night stay at the hotel in Dhundi.

Today, we will be moving back to Solang Nala/ Manali from Dhundi in the morning. An overnight stay at the hotel in Solang Nala/Manali.

The day is for last minute shopping or relax. In the late afternoon transfer to Volvo station and from here we will drive to Delhi at 16:30 hrs. Overnight journey.

Arrival at Delhi by morning in between 07:00 am – 08:00 am. End of the tour and services.
