The long ridges mostly covered with soft snow offer beautiful view of the high mountains of the peak afar. Mt. Changabang has once been described as the ‘milk-white granite’ that shines like as if veiled in bridal lace. The writer also calls the mountain as eye-tooth fang for its shape and colour. Day 1 Arrive Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, our representative will meet you and will transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 Delhi
In the morning, we will visit Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) for briefing about the expedition and to fulfill formalities. Meet Liaison Officer, equipment check up. Rest of the day is free or do own activity. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Delhi - Rishikesh
In the morning after having breakfast drive to Rishikesh (225km) via Haridwar. On arrival meet our guide and check-in at the hotel. By evening visit the local Ashram and temple. One can also witness the holy Aarti on river Ganges by evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 Rishikesh - Joshimath
After the breakfast, drive to reach Joshimath (250 kms) via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnprayag. On arrival, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 Joshimath
Today, we shall visit Local Administrative office for the inner line permit and Forest office of Nanda Devi (Biosphere Reserve) National Park for permission. Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 6 Joshimath - Juma - Ruing
In the morning, we drive upto Juma Village (40 kms). From Juma, the trek starts for Ruing Village (4kms). Overnight stay in the camp
Day 7 Ruing - Dronagiri Village
After the breakfast, we shall trek to Dronagiri Village (2800 mt) . The trekking trail will cover 8 kms that will be an uphill climb and will take about 4-5 hrs to complete. Arrive at Dronagiri Village and set up camp for overnight stay.
Day 8 Dronagiri Village - Bagni Glaciar Base Camp
After breakfast, we shall trek to the Changabanga Base Camp (4200 mt) via Dronagiri Kol and Dronagiri Gad covering about 12 kms in 5 -6 hrs. Overnight stay in the Camp.
Day 9 - Day 45: Establish Higher Camps and attempt summit bid.
Day 46 Base Camp - Dronagiri
In the morning after having breakfast, we will leave the Base Camp and trek back to Dronagiri Village. On arrival, set up the camp for overnight stay.
Day 47 Dronagiri - Juma - Joshimath
Today, after the breakfast, we will trek down to Juma via Ruing Village and then drive to Joshimath. Upon arriving at Joshimath, we shall check-in at the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 48 Joshimath - Rishikesh
In the morning drive to Rishikesh. Upon arriving Rishikesh, check-in to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 49 Rishikesh - Delhi
After breakfast, we shall drive back to Delhi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 50 Delhi Departure
In the morning after the breakfast, we shall visit IMF for debriefing. Rest of the day will be free for independent activities. Later, transfer to International airport to board flights for respective destinations.
