In the afternoon, proceed to Munnar, renowned as a popular stop for holidays in Kerala, and check into your hotel.
Begin the morning with a half-day Munnar sightseeing tour. Discover the world’s highest tea estates stretching like a green carpet over magnificent hills, and visit Eravikulam National Park (closed in January and February), known as the home of the rare species of Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat). Spend the night in Munnar.
Proceed to the Periyar Wildlife Reserve, set along a picturesque lakeside.
