After checking in, rest for a while before stepping out for sightseeing in Delhi. Begin at the grand Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, known for its towering minarets and historic courtyard, then stroll through the narrow lanes surrounding the mosque, soaking in the aroma of street food and the lively atmosphere of Old Delhi.
Next, walk through the red sandstone corridors of Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once the seat of the Mughal Emperors. And then take a quiet moment to reflect at Raj Ghat, the memorial for Mahatma Gandhi. Later in the afternoon, visit the stunning Akshardham Temple, a modern architectural wonder that highlights India's ancient culture, spirituality, and craftsmanship.
