When it is one of most beautiful of Himalayan meadow in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand is talked about, Bedni Bugyal will always be there. Also known for rare Brahma Kamal, the region is already an apple of eyes of avid trekkers for so much versatility, more so of those who love to travel with their family because of the availability of easier treks. Bedni Bugyal trekking tour thus becomes one of the most cherished by people of all ages for families coming from every corner of the world.

The luxuriant sceneries of Haridwar and Rishikesh start themselves unfolding as the traveler leaves the mechanized and routine-bound Delhi with his family for a perfect adventure holiday. The road journey on four-wheelers comes to a halt at the trekking base camp at Wan, reached via Karnaprayag and Mandoni. From here, the small trek to Bedni Bugyal and the meadow in itself would leave anyone spell bounded.

In addition, one can also go to Ali Bugyal if the stamina allows. Some 10 Km from Bedni, Ali is as much wonderful as Bedni is, with pristine Nature in the form of green valleys, rugged mountains, Vaitarni Lake (Bedni Kund), and whatever a scenery-hungry eye can take in. After Ali, the assorted group of family returns to Bedni Bugal family trek to continue to descent to base camp as the trek finishes there.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh
In the morning transfer to railway station and from here catch AC train for Haridwar at 06:50 hrs. Arrival at Haridwar by 11:25 hrs. On arrival meet our guide and transfer to Rishikesh by road & check into hotel. In the evening visit the Ganga Ghat for Aarti ceremony at holy river Ganges. Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 Rishikesh - Karnprayag - Mundoli
In the morning after breakfast drive to Mundoli (240 km/8-9 hrs) via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnprayag. Arrival at Mundoli by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 3 Mundoli - Wan - Bedni Bugyal (3350 mts/11000 ft)
In the morning drive 10 kms to Wan, which is the road head for the trek. Today we will trek 11 km (5-6 hrs) to reach Bedni Bugyal, probably one of the best camping sites in the Garhwal Himalayas. Dinner and overnight stay in tents. Bedni Bugyal is a charming green meadow adorned with flowers in a spell binding varieties, in full bloom. There is a small lake situated in the midst of the meadow, where Tarpans are offered by the devotees. Situated nearby is a small temple where the devotees pay their obeisance, during their halt at Bedni Bugyal.

Day 4 Bedni - Ali Bugyal - Bedni (10 kms/4 hrs)
Today we will trek up to another Bugyal, Ali Bugyal(3300 mts). After exploring the area trek back to Bedni for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Bedni Bugyal - Wan - Mundoli - Karnprayag
Retrace your steps towards Wan and from here drive to Karnprayag. Dinner and overnight in hotel..

Day 6 Karnprayag - Haridwar - Delhi
Early in the morning drive to Haridwar and from here catch AC Train for Delhi at 18:05 hrs. Arrival at Delhi by 22:45 hrs Trip and services ends.

• Train Ticket: AC train/AC Volvo Ticket from Delhi to Haridwar & back
• All road transfers by a Mahindra Max car from Haridwar to trek point and back to Haridwar
• Accommodation in a hotel at Rishikesh, Karnprayag on twin sharing basis with breakfast. While on trek Dome/Alpine tents will be provided.
• Meals: At Rishikesh/Karnprayag only breakfast will be serving. While on trek all meals will be provided. Meals will be freshly prepared by mix of Indian, Chinese and Continental
