Dear Team We the Kapoor Family are back from our Har Ki Dun Trek and would like to thank the entire Peak Adventure team consisting of Mr Arun Joshi, Mr Rana (Trek Leader), Chandramani, Kamal, Krishna and you for assisting us during the private tour - needless to say we would not have had such an adventure had it not been for the excellent back up support by the team While it was off season and extremely cold the challenging 5 day trek for first timers like us was made extremely enjoyable due to the special efforts taken by the trek leader and his team. Be it coming up with hot tea, tasty food and a warm bed at the end of an arduous trek, mounting a mule or assisting the young one to cross a stream the team members ensured that the family faced no discomfort during the journey to the grand Har Ki Dun valley set amidst the lower Himalayan peaks The return journey via Charkrata visit to IMA, Forest Research Institute and Paltan Bazaar made for a grand ending to the very memorable tour We will definitely come back to Peak Adventures for more trekking and adventure in the future – keep up the great work .

Hi Arun,  Just thought of sharing feedback on my trip. First of all thank you for helping me out in the same and for being available at all times during the trip. Was also nice to meet you in Manali. Wrt Hotels - All hotels were good except Dream View in Manali - Room and service was average. We got very good service at Jispa (Ibex) and Leh (Mansarover) hotels which made our trip memorable. Camp sites at Pangong and Nubra were also excellent - very homely feeling. Kargil hotel was again average but I guess in that city not many options must be there. Peacock houseboat at Srinagar was again very good. Wrt Drivers and cars - very good drivers - friendly and safe, also knowledgeable about the places. Cars again were in good condition, made our journey more comfortable. There was slight confusion in what was included and what was not in the package with the intermediaries - could be avoided if their numbers of intermediaries were shared in advance and if they were informed about the inclusions and exclusions. Also, would like to bring to your notice another point - wanted to see Magnetic Hill - informed Mr Musa about the same - he said we would have to pay extra for the same. However, when I checked with others they said that this would be on our way to Kargil and we do not need to pay anything extra. When we were going to Kargil, we realized that it was literally on the way and driver did nt need to take any detour. Hence, asking for extra money was simply unfair and had we paid the amount we would have felt cheated. All in all a great trip. Thank you, looking forward to travel with you again.  .

Hi, I wanted to follow up on our Nanda Devi trek, which we completed almost two months ago (the past two months have been quite busy so we haven't been able to get back to you until now). I wanted to provide you with some feedback on the trek (Hemali, Ganesh, please add), which we all very much enjoyed. Overall, the trek was great. We were especially impressed by your staff, particularly Baldev Rana (a fantastic guide who took the time to understand our background and interests and provide context for the sights). We were also very happy with the service and company of Kirti-bhai, our driver, who is one of the best drivers we have ever seen in India (very knowledgeable, careful, responsible, and well-known in the region), as well as the head porter (whose name is escaping me), who was both a trekking expert and a true leader of the group. For the most part, the logistics were taken care of. The train, hotels, and meals were all convenient (and having parathas and chai constantly on the trek was a real treat!). One item which was not clear was the expectation that we would provide the rest of the payment in cash. This caught us by surprise and required us to figure things out at the last minute. In the future, please outline this requirement in writing in advance.  I hope this is helpful information for you .

Hi Arun, We had a great trekking trip from 27th to 31st Dec 2013. It was very well organized. I would like make a special mention of Satish, our guide. He was very well informed about the places we visited and very enthusiastic. Anil, our cook, made some superb meals and exceptional lemon tea. Last but not the least, our driver Ramesh was steady behind the wheel and rode with complete confidence through work-in-progress roads. Kindly convey our heartfelt thanks to the team. Hey Arun Joshi, I just wanted to check in and say I made it back to New Delhi with no problems. I leave tomorrow for Australia and home. Sorry about the late final payment. It was a huge pain in the ass for everybody including my bank. It all seems to have work out. Hukam and the porters did a great job and I hope to visit the Gangotri again next year. If I do I will be sure to contact Peak Adventures to help with my expedition plans. I had a very memorable trek and took a bunch of photos. Dear Arun, I want to take this opportunity to thank you and your entire team, especially our guide Mr. Baldev Rana, for their outstanding endurance in making sure we return safely to Rishikesh (and to Pune via Delhi). Even though we couldn't trek up to Kuari Pass, it has been a memorable trek which I will cherish thoroughly (and I am sure the entire team will agree). I specially want to thank Baldev for his courage and endless endurance in making sure "Safety First" approach. He and Satish (the other guide) and the entire kitchen staff were on their toes to help us out of difficult situation we were in at Khulara. I must say that it was unbelievable to see Baldev outside our dinning tent on the morning of 18th at 8am. He took off from the camp on 17th around 11pm to find some help (as you know one of our team member broke her leg). It was raining/pouring endlessly and the next day when we were having hot cup of tea, someone said, it will take Baldev the entire day (i.e. 18th) to find some people who can carry the injured team member. But there he was, as always with a broad smile on his face, at the stroke of 8am. I also want to thank you for remotely managing all the lodging facilities where ever we needed them at 11th hour and of course the never ending air ticket saga! I am sure I will definitely choose your team for future travel in Himalayas and/or north india. I know you must have seen millions of trek photos, even then if you are interested you can see our treks photo's on my PICASA album. Hi Arun, I just wanted to say what a fantastic trip I recently had with your company! Everyone who accompanied and helped me on my trek was excellent, specifically my guide Baldev, the cook Mr. Mohan, and the driver Raju. Baldev was a super guide, he was always full of information and letting me know about special things about the areas we were passing through. Mr. Mohan was an amazing cook, and I have never eaten so well as I did on this trek! And Raju was likely the safest driver Ive met so far in India, I always felt safe in the car with him at the wheel through the mountain roads. All three gentlemen were very kind and always watched out for my safety, especially since I was a solo female trekker, and this was very comforting. Again, thank you very much for arranging my trip, and please extend my gratitude to Baldev, Mr. Mohan, and Raju, as I couldnt thank them enough when I left for Delhi today! I throughly enjoyed the Chopta Chandrisila trek and hope to do another one in the future. Thanks Again, Emily .

Dear Arun Joshi, Chadar trekking was a fantastic experience and adventure... Until the 15th I only saw one tourist, but after 15th more people showed up. The guide Lama looked behind every time danger was near for me or for my equipment. At one point he even risked his own safety by when he jumped to hold me from sliding down from a high frozen waterfall into the Zanskar river. The cook Dorjey always prepared my favorite food (even our national food - french fries !). The porters Namgyal, Teswang and Lobzang offered me the best place near the fire on their own mats.... Dear Arun Joshi, It was a pleasurable trek and treat that Peak Adventure Tours gave us during our recent travel to Tungnath - Chandrashila. Hi Arun , I know this email is coming in very late but better late than never. Just wanted to drop you this email and appreciate all the arrangements you made for our trip to Leh. Everything was just right. All the drivers came on time to pick us up from the airports and for all our sight-seeing. They were all well-mannered and decent.
