White water rafting in the River Alaknanda is the thrill of the adventure. Alaknanda is the main tributary of the Ganges. This beautiful river passes through the scenic valleys in the Garhwal Himalayas. This trip starts from Chamoli with ultimate experience of rafting through grade 3 and 4+ rapids, viewing the nature, forests, traversing through gorges and charming villages, camping on exclusive beaches of silver sand, and Himalayan wildlife.

A self contained multi-day River rafting down the Alaknanda & Ganga Rivers. A scenic drive for 7-8 hours takes us past the town of Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form India's holiest river, the Ganga. We reach Chamoli, which is our starting point of the rafting on the Alaknanda river. On day two we will fight a 4+ rapid 'Hillary fall' at Nandprayag. On our way to rafting we will cross the confluence of Nandakini & Alaknanda at Nandprayag. Confluence of Mandakini & Alaknanda at Rudraprayag. Confluence of Pinder & Alaknanda at Karnprayag. Confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda at Devprayag.

The total journey from 128kms to Rishikesh, the run takes you through thick forests and deep gorges, ending each day at a different river beach to make camp for the night, enhancing the adventure of being on the river. Foaming rapids, sandy beaches and starry nights make this a truly outdoor trip, even for the first time rafter.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport met our representative and then transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi - Haridwar - Shivpuri (40 kms/2 hrs)
In the morning board AC train for Haridwar at 06:55 hrs from New Delhi Railway Station. Arrival at Haridwar by 11:20 hrs. On arrival met our representative and drive to Beach camp at Shivpuri. Lunch at the camp. After lunch practice run at Ganga river from Shivpuri - Rishikesh. In this day we will fight rapids like Return to the Sender, Golf Course and Roller coaster etc. evening back to camp. Bonfire & dinner by riverside. Overnight stay.

Day 03: Shivpuri - Chamoli (180 kms/7-8 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast pack up and drive for Chamoli via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag & Nandprayag. On arrival check in to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Chamoli - Kaldu Bagadh (21 kms)
In the morning after breakfast set out for the expedition. Strapped all the equipments on the raft and start your trip with the blessing of the Ganga Maiya (Mother). Today we will hit a good class IV+ rapid at Nandprayag. The famous 'Hillary fall'. We will set out our camp at Kaldu Bagadh. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 05: Kaldu Bagadh - Gauchar (23 kms)
In the morning after breakfast set out for another day of the rafting. Today we will hit also good class III and IV rapids. Enroute we will cross Kranprayag, the confluence of Pinder and Alaknanda. We will continue our run till Gauchar. On arrival set out camp for overnight stay.

Day 06: Gauchar - Rudraprayag (26 kms)
In the morning after breakfast set out on the raft. Today we raft from Gauchar to the Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is where the Mandakini meets Alaknanda. We also pass the 'Kakad Faal' rapid and "The Holy Hole", at the confluence with the Mandakini. Which are classes V rapid. On arrival at Rudraprayag set out camp for overnight stay.

Day 07: Rudraprayag - Kirti Nagar (28 kms)
Today we will raft till Kirti Nagar. We will cross the temple rapids at Dhari Devi. On arrival at Kirti Nagar set out camp for the night stay.

Day 08: Kirti Nagar - Devprayag (35 kms)
Today we will raft down to Devprayag, the confluence of the Alaknanda & Bhagirathi Rivers. The river is now called the Ganges. Today we will hit good class III rapids such as Bagwan and the confluence at Devprayag. On arrival set out camp for overnight stay.

Day 09: Devprayag - Kaudiyala (30 kms)
A relaxed day with rapids. A day for swimming, body surfing, relaxing and spotting wildlife. On arrival at Kaudiyala set out camp for overnight stay just before the running a Grade IV rapid, "Daniel's Dip" at Kaudiyala.

Day 10: Kaudiyala - Shivpuri (22 kms) - Haridwar (40 kms/2 hrs) - Delhi
Start the day with breakfast and a short morning walk, Ready for Rafting from Kaudiyala to Shivpuri, Play with rapids of Grades 2 to 5 like Daniel Dip, Sweet sixteen, The wall, Black money, Three blind mice, Body surfing and Shivpuri. Lunch in afternoon at the Shivpuri beach camp and check out for Haridwar railway station to catch train for Delhi at 18:05 hrs. Arrival at Delhi by 22:45 hrs. on arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11: Delhi Departure
The day is for relaxed. By evening transfer to international airport to catch onwards flight.
