arrive from all regions of India, the path proceeds at first along the sacred Bhagirathi river, then through dense forests and grassy areas as far as Lata. From there it is a 5-hour drive to Gangotri, where the second part of the trek starts. Near Gomukh, close to the Source of the Ganges, you will experience the strange view of half-naked Sadhus in the lotus position, meditating on the bank of the bubbling stream pouring out the glacier. Further up, Tapovan is a grassy area with numerous brooks, surrounded by snowy peaks.It is a round-trip itinerary starting in Kedarnath, along the sacred Bhagirathi River, then heading west, through dense forests and grassy areas. The northern part of the itinerary will offer magnificent views of several high altitude lakes

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport met our representative and then transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi – Rishikesh (230 kms/6 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh via Haridwar. Upon arrival at Haridwar visit Har Ki Peri and further drive to Rishikesh. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening visit Laxman Jhoola, Triveni Ghat etc. overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Haridwar – Gaurikund
(225 kms/7-8 hrs)
After an early breakfast drive to Gaurikund via Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi. The holy river Ganges

starts from here) & Rudraprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini). After Rudraprayag we will follow the Mandakini River till Kund. Upon arrival at Gaurikund check in to TRH. Dinner and overnight stay in TRH.

Day 04: Gaurikund – Kedarnath (3600 mts/11808 ft) 14 kms trek/4-5 hrs.
Early in the morning take a holy dip in Gaurikund and later after breakfast start your first day trek through the narrow lanes of Gaurikund and the entire walk of 14 km is dotted with shops and tea stalls which offer respite to the pilgrims who brave out the five hour steep climb to Kedarnath. The walk is over a well laid out path and quite steep at certain bends, the noisy river Mandakini flows to your right all along the trail. Kedarnath is a huge temple village and right in the center stands the ancient temple of Kedarnath. Overnight stay in Tourist Rest House.

Kedarnath:
Kedarnath is one of the most important Indian pilgrimage places. The temple, built in the 8th century and dedicated to the goddess Shiva, is magnificently surrounded with snow-capped peaks.

Day 05: Kedarnath
The day is for relax and one can trek up to Gandhi Sarovar (2 kms). It will take an hour to reach over there. Explore the surroundings and later back to Kedarnath. Dinner and overnight stay at TRH.

Day 06: Kedarnath – Gaurikund (14 kms/ 4 hrs) – Sonprayag (5 kms/1 hrs)
In the morning trek back to Gaurikund and from here drive to Sonprayag. Dinner and overnight stay in TRH

Day 07: Sonprayag – Maggu (3050 mts/10004 ft) 13 kms/5-6 hrs
After an early breakfast trek up to Maggu. The trek is full of adventures. We will trek upwards through dense forest. Upon arrival at Maggu set out camp for overnight stay.

Day 08: Maggu – Panwali Kantha (3963 mts/12998 ft) 12 kms/5-6 hrs
After a short climb, we will cross Kaunkhola Khola and follow a pleasant trail over a flat area, and descend towards the meadows of Panwali Khanta. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 09: Panwali Kantha – Ghuttu (1535 mts/5035 ft) 19 kms/6 hrs
We climb up to Khinko La (3500 mts/11480 ft), then descend

through a magnificent tropical forest and rice-fields to Ghuttu. Ghuttu is a small village on the bank of Bhilangna River, is the last road head for Khatling glacier and Panwali Kantha trek.  Dinner and overnight stay in tents/TRH.

Day 10: Ghuttu – Bharon Chatti (2493 mts/8178 ft) 12 kms/5 hrs
We continue our way through forest and rice-fields to a ridge trail. From the top, the view towards Mount Garhwal is quite impressive. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 11: Bharon Chatti – Budhakedar (1530 mts/5018 ft) 8 kms/4 hrs
This is an easy day, all-downward and we will trek through fields and forests. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 12: Budhakedar – Belak Khal (2571 mts/8433 ft) 14 kms/ 6 hrs
The trail passes through a succession of tiny villages: Agund, Jhala and Pangrana. Magnificent high-alpine panorama. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 13: Belak Khal – Lata (1700 mts/5576 ft) 15 kms/3 hrs 22 Kms 
In the morning we will trek up to Lata and further drive to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14: Uttarkashi – Haridwar (180 Kms/5 hrs)
In the morning drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival at Haridwar check in to hotel. In the evening visit Har ki Peri for Aarti ceremony. Later back to hotel for overnight stay

Day 15: Haridwar – Delhi
In the morning after breakfast drive to Delhi. Lunch enroute. Upon arrival at Delhi transfer to airport to catch your onwards flight.
