Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport met our representative and then transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
The entire day will be exclusively planned to guide you around the major attractions of Delhi. Delhi sightseeing tour begins shortly after breakfast. 17th century Red Fort which was built by the great Mughal Shah Jahan gives you delightful reflection on the India history. On approaching Jama Masjid, you get some insights into Muslim religion, culture and belief. India Gate is another living pride of New Delhi and it is also a reminder of the World War. You will also have a pleasure to visit President House, an official residence of India’s President. Thereafter, the journey takes you to Qutub Minar. At the end of the day, you finally head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 -04: Delhi - Kathgodam – Almora
After enjoying delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the railway station to catch a train to Kathgodam. You will have your meals and sleep in the train. On the next day as the train stops at Almora, you have to onboard the train and our staff will escort you to your hotel in Almora. You overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Almora - Munsyari (2290 mts)
Soon after breakfast, you will be driven to Munsyari. Upon arriving at your hotel in Munsyari, you exist to your room to freshen up. After proper rest, you have your meal. You will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Munsyari - Lilam (1845 mts)
Your trek commences from Munsyari. Feasting on mesmerizing views of verdant meadows and stream, you march ahead towards Lilam. On the way you will also see an Indo-Tibet Boarder check post. Finally, you overnight at a perfect campsite.
Day 07: Lilam - PatonVillage - GoriGangaRiver - RalamValley
After Lilam, the trek continues in the east direction across the river to the PatonVillage (2100m / 6890ft). Your climb to Paton Village will start once you have crossed Gori Ganga by bridge. The trail to the village is broad and the village is about 10kms.away. From here you can follow a trail to Pithi Gad. This small river which flows from the east merges with the Ralam Gad. At the meeting point of these two rivers, you have grounds to camp here.
Day 08: RalamValley
The trail on the third day gets wilder as you go deep inside the Ralam Valley. You don’t have to make major climbs but you will come across constant ups and downs. After 10 kms there is a huge cave, Sapo Udiar (3015m / 9890 ft), with large boulders nearby which are good for rock climbing. At present this place is used by locals for shelter while traveling. After covering 16 kms, comes the last stage to Ralam Valley. It is generally a flat trail. To its east lie peaks such as Shivu (lord Shiva), Rajrambha (‘celestial fairy’) and Chaudhara.
Day 09: RalamValley - RalamVillage
After having explored Ralam Valley, the trail reaches Ralam Village (3650m / 11975ft). This village consists of about dozen houses with large stony compounds.
A trail from village to its north leads to a unique meeting of a unique meeting of three Glaciers. From the northwest, the Glacier Kalabaland descends to merge with the Yankchar from the southeast. They together form another Glacier which is known as Sankalpa. This Sankalpa Glacier descends southwards to the Ralam Valley. This area is famous for its exclusive formation of glaciology. On the east side of Ralam Valley is the Yankchar Dhura Pass.
Day 10: RalamVillage - Birjeganj Dhura - Tola
A broad trail, starting near the village leads to the top of the village. The Birjeganj Dhura pass can be reached after a 5 km climb as the pass is located directly above the Ralam Valley. A wide panorama opens in the front, when you are on the pass. From the direction the trail has climbed, you can view Rajrambha, Chaudhaha, the sharp peak of Suitilla and many other peaks can be viewed. To its west, lies the mesmerizing view of Nanda Devi Sanctuary. For Camping, there is no place near the pass, so you have to descend to the west.
After about 200m, the trail ascends to the village of Tola (3432m / 11260 ft). At about 300m (986ft) above the village, you can pitch tents. The exclusive profile of Nanda Devi Peak’s east face (7816m / 25644ft) makes it compulsory for the tourists to camp here.
As the trail descends to Tola, the magnificent peaks of Hardeol and Trishuli can be seen.
Day 11: Tola - Martoli
After reaching the valley and the small village of Tola, spend the night at this village or cross the bridge over the Gori Ganga to climb 6 kmfurther on to Martoli (3374m / 11070ft).
Day 12: Martoli - Bugdiar
Now start your journey again towards Bugdiar from Martoli. Trail is a bit tiring but valleys, waterfalls and interesting temples on the way are enough to keep the trekkers in high spirit.
Day 13: Bugdiar - Lilam
From Bugdiar continue to trek until you reach Lilam.
Day 14: Lilam - Munsyari
Early in the morning after breakfast, you return to Munsyari and overnight at your camp tent in Munsyari.
Day 15: Munsyari - Almora
You will be driven to your hotel in Almora where you enjoy quality services and good accommodation.
Day 16: Almora - Delhi
From Almora you will take an overnight train to Delhi.
Day 17: Arrival Delhi
Our staff will receive you at the Delhi railway station and escort you to your hotel.
Day 18: Delhi Departure
You will be driven to the airport in time for your flight back home. We ensure that you will leave Delhi with cherishing memory and an experience of a lifetime.
