The season extends from January to March during which time skiing festivals and the National Championships are held. he Auli slopes, descending from 3049 meters to 2915 meters are flanked by stately conifers and oaks, which cut wind velocity to the minimum. Adding to the thrill of skiing is a 180 degree view of Himalayan peaks, which include Nanda Devi (7817 meters), Kamet (7756 meters), Mana Parvat (7273 meters) and Dunagiri (7066 meters), seemingly only a snowballs throw away.
The conditions for skiing are perfect at Auli. A 500 meters long ski-lift and an 800 meters long chair-lift link the upper and lower slopes, and snow beaters and snow-packing machines maintain the smoothness of the slopes. Skiers can enjoy almost 20 kms of virgin slopes, which provide excellent opportunities for cross-country, slalom and down-hill skiing events.

Day 01: New Delhi – Haridwar (205 kms/5-6 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar. Lunch enroute. Upon arrival at Haridwar transfer check into the hotel. In the evening visit
“Har Ki Peri” for Aarti ceremony. Back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02: Haridwar - Joshimath (245 kms/8-9 hrs)
After an early breakfast drive to Joshimath via Devprayag. On the way visit Devprayag where Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers meet. From here the holy river Ganges started. Arrival at Joshimath by evening, check into the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.
Joshimath: The religious centre, established by Adi Shankaracharya, which he called Jyotirmath, later came to be known as Joshimath. Among the sites of interest are the temples of Nav Durga and Narsingh. Apart from its obvious religious importance, Joshimath is known for its scenic beauty.
Day 03 - Day 5: Auli

Day 06:
Auli - Joshimath - Haridwar (285 kms)
Early morning drive to Haridwar with packed breakfast. On the way visit Rudraprayag where river Mandakini and Alaknanda meet. Lunch enroute. Arrive Haridwar by evening. Check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07: Haridwar - Delhi (207 kms)
After breakfast drive back to Delhi for onward destination.
